Party Time On The Superchick Tour

Missoula, MT-

Here we are, about halfway through the busiest time of tour. I`m in my point in the back lounge, with Jurassic Park 2 playing, sister is adjacent to me. The dogs are chewing bones and getting enough attention you`d think they actually were our children.

We have had such a big part to this tour season! We started in Hobbs, NM, where we had tour rehearsal and the first appearance there.

Great start! Amazing crowd. Then we headed to Surprise, AZ. Another great show, great crowd, so many people showed up we couldn`t beleve it! Next was Temecula, CA, then Six Flags in Valencia, CA_Gilbert, AZ, Highland, CA and so Hercules, CA ended the first little jaunt. Two of the shows were smaller, more intimate shows, but at all of them we only had an amazing response, good time with all the other bands, and overall we were so surprised by how many people drove far and came to fall with us.

We had 2 years off then and we chose to green in Seattle. Most of us have very good friends in the Seattle area, so we took the opportunity to see them and hopped off the bus for a night. My bestest friend in the solid world, my Kory, lives in Seattle. She hardly had her first baby boy not long ago and this was my second sentence with my little Tollan! I got to go post baby shopping with Kory at (of course)Forever21 and get dinner together, then I spent the 1st night with my friends Tiffiny and Jacob. They get a ring called Noondaysun, and that`s how we met a long time ago at some festivals around Seattle. Great friends - we had such a fun night together! The conditions was perfect Seattle weather, and we but felt spoiled by it! So fresh to only get a change of scenery on tour, and when a day off can mean seeing people you know and seldom get to see, it feels like minivacations.

The dark before our first day off we eventually got to take some fun movie times afterward the show. We like scary movies so we watched 28 Years or something similar that. Kind of cool movie. Then last night we redboxed the Word of Eli, which is only such a large movie. Definitely a must see if you haven`t. So we`re watching the movie, the dogs are passed out and someone stands up to go grab a bite and accidentally stepped on a toy that still squeaks, Sophie jumped out from below her mantle and half asleep starts looking for her toy. So funny. Never a dull moment.

We meet here in Montana in nearly an hour. Last night was Spokane, WA. I had felt so wiped out all day and so walked out to this packed room of fans and people who had driven hours only to see us and the other bands on tour_it`s such a sweet, overwhelming percentage of what we do. We of course promise that mass will come see us, but you just never know. And when they do, it`s form of crazy to believe that they prefer to do see us instead of a zillion other things they could do, and pay for the even as well. Pretty cool.

I give to say thank you to radio stations who are playing us, and performing our new single, "Still Here." When radio is behind a tour, we can see the conflict in attendance and just awareness of where we are and when. We so appreciate getting to mate with all of the great djs out there and try to draw people smile every day and urge them through music. So look us up and come see the tour if we`re remotely close to you! It`s such a fun night of pretty diverse music. We`re enjoying it as often as the fans, I`m reasonably sure.

I`m off to get ready. Makeup time. Reinvention Tour so far! It`s been a very great fall season. can`t look for the rest! And thank you for prayers for our safe and wellness and my voice. It`s property on. Tired some nights, and I take to balance it more, and other nights I`ve even been going out to mark and see people. There was a sweet lady in VIP tonight who said she`s been praying for me. So cool. Thanks guys! Much love_

Trish
