This weekend I saw Tyrone Wells at Home of Blues Anaheim with one of my girlfriends. It was a big show, and I can't think it was my first time really seeing him play.
A small back story: I worked on campus during my undergrad years, and my boss was Possessed with Tyrone Wells. Whenever he would run at a local venue (read: small coffee house), she would go nuts and try to get us to go with her.

Fast forward a few years, Boyfriend (who also worked at the sami order as me) got me into Tyrone after purchasing a few of his albums -where our chief is included in the liner notes - and of course the seat he played at on weekends closed down. In bed but unable to see him. Last year, our (now former) boss celebrated her fiftieth birthday.at Tyrone's house! We were invited, got to hang out in his backyard, met his beautiful wife, and enjoyed an acoustic performance by the two of them. *swoon*

So imagine my surprise when he announced he would be performing at HOB Anaheim (just land the street) and for super cheap! I panicked because the tickets were almost sold out and broke the no-buying-stuff-while-at-work rule.a week later, I launch out Boyfriend wouldn't be capable to go with me (he had a serious reason) so I had to get a date.thankfully, my girl in Big Bear was able to get down and go with me!

His lyrics are truly great, and I love you will know one of his songs from the commercials for one of the recent seasons of Grey's Anatomy.or perhaps One Tree Hill, Ghost Whisperer, The Vampire Diaries, Private Practice, or Deliver Me.
I wasn't able to make a whole playlist, but Myspace has a fairly comprehensive one. My favorites are Sea Breeze, Sink or Swim, Carolina Blues, and More.I'm sure there are more, but I'd end up listing waaayyy too many!
