Creamfields- for the Ultimate in Festival Chic

The first Creamfields festival was arranged in Winchester in 1998 attracting an amazing 25,000 people and featuring live performances from Run DMC, Primal Scream and an array of world class DJs.

Creamfields then decamped to to its spiritual family of Liverpool in 1999. The old airfield played host to about 50,000 clubbers who returned every August bank holiday for the following 6 years to `Live the Cream`.

In 2000, Creamfields introduced the Last Stage, showcasing its first ever international festival at Punchestown Racecourse, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

Creamfields was also voted as `Result Of The Year` in the Muzik Awards. After the Success of its Irish debut, Creamfields expanded its global festival domination, staging events throughout the world and establishing itself as the biggest and near popular electronic music festival in the world.

In 2006 Creamfields moved to the leafy Cheshire pastures of Daresbury, attracting a record breaking 45,000 visitors. This successful run was welcomed by regulars who said it gave the event a more `festival feel`. Festival goers were hardened to performances from the likes of The Prodigy, The Zutons and Goldfrapp to describe a few.

Creamfields takes place this class on Saturday 29 August and Sunday 30 August 2009. This class will see 16 arenas across the two days celebrating everything that dance music has to offer. Cream in connection with Bench, Chibuku, Subliminal Sessions, Swedish House Mafia, Annie Mac Presents, Ape, Hed Kandi, Go Dutch, Residents Terrace plus welcome new ringmasters Goodgreef Xtra Hard and the Mixmag Terrace.

Each year Creamfields returns with exciting new additions and exclusives to retain its format fresh, this year sees over one hundred DJ`s and over twenty live acts spread across two entire days of music, mayhem and entertainment!
